Job Description The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is headquartered in Washington, DC. FDIC’s Virginia Square campus, including the L. William Seidman Center, is a multi‑building complex located in Arlington, Virginia. The campus offers a fitness center, cafeteria, auditoriums, classrooms, and a 350‑room residence center. It is located 9.5 acres and close to the Washington, D.C. Metro. Both FDIC locations host training, meetings, and corporate events. Under the direction of the Guest Service Manager, the Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for leading the Guest Services Department, ensuring a positive experience for staff and guests at the conference center. Compensation The hourly rate for this position ranges from $24.00/hr to $24.57/hr, depending on skills, qualifications, certifications, experience and market data. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission. Job Responsibilities Supervise Guest Services Support Staff, providing 24/7 coverage. Coordinate registration functions and transportation for all guests. Train Front Desk/Concierge personnel using established training programs. Oversee front desk and concierge tasks to deliver world‑class service, including check‑in/check‑out, lobby ambassador program, local area orientation, telephone service, and special deliveries. Coordinate guest transportation reservations and manage the property management system. Conduct night audits, assist guests, maintain sundries supplies, and monitor safe deposit boxes. Open and close cashier banks for support staff. Design and implement training programs covering daily operations, safety, and Aramark policies. Order, store, and inventory supplies necessary for daily operations. Communicate with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. Establish, implement, and follow all emergency procedures. Perform any other duties assigned by the Guest Services Manager. Qualifications Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to world‑class service. Strong knowledge of personal computers. Experience in providing guest services and leading a team. Ability to motivate, lead, and communicate effectively with others. Strong organizational abilities. Preferably two years in hospitality or a similar role as Guest Services or Concierge supervisor. Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English. Should endeavor to meet the client's employment process conditions, including federal contractor requirements. This role may have physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and personal protective equipment may be required. Education High School Diploma. Minimum 1–2 years of experience.
