Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a ServiceNow Platform / Technology Architect on behalf of our client in Remote This role will lead the technical architecture, platform strategy, roadmap, and governance of an enterprise ServiceNow environment.

The ideal candidate will combine strong ServiceNow platform expertise with enterprise architecture experience , ensuring the platform remains scalable, secure, standardized, and aligned with broader technology objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the ServiceNow platform architecture, technical strategy, and roadmap .

• Establish and maintain reference architectures, technical standards, and governance frameworks .

• Ensure platform scalability, availability, security, performance, and long-term sustainability.

• Develop technical guardrails while enabling secure and effective self-service capabilities.

• Partner with enterprise architecture and engineering teams to align ServiceNow with organizational technology standards.

• Provide architectural guidance for ServiceNow configuration, customization, application development, integrations, APIs, and platform extensibility .

• Identify and address technical debt, architectural risks, and platform modernization opportunities .

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable platform solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Platform Architect, Technical Architect, Technology Architect , or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and enterprise platform strategy .

• Experience defining platform roadmaps, reference architectures, and technical standards .

• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and architecture governance .

• Experience with ServiceNow environments, scalability, availability, infrastructure, and performance planning.

• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow configuration, customization, application development, APIs, and integrations .

• Experience establishing platform governance, architectural controls, and technical guardrails .

• Strong understanding of cloud, infrastructure, networking, security, and enterprise integration concepts .

• Experience identifying and managing technical debt, architectural risks, and modernization initiatives .

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale, enterprise-level ServiceNow environments .

• Strong understanding of platform operating models and self-service enablement.

• Ability to balance hands-on technical architecture with long-term strategic planning.

• Proven ability to communicate complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
