Assistant Property Manager

Assistant Property Manager Warren, OH Alpha Phi Alpha Homes, Inc. is currently looking for a qualified Assistant Property Manager to join our team at our Warren, OH location. We are a diverse non‑profit organization that specializes in the development and management of affordable housing and senior resident living communities. In this role, you will support daily property operations and resident services. What we can offer you: Health insurance Life insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401k matching PTO Parental leave Health savings account Professional development assistance Tuition reimbursement PAY: $20.00-$22.00 per hour, offer depending on experience Schedule: Monday-Friday 4-day schedule is available if desired following 30 days of employment Weekends as needed 8-hour shift Day Shift Overtime Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Property management or leasing experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Good organizational and time management abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Knowledge of affordable housing programs preferred Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Basic property maintenance knowledge preferred Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and walk the property as needed Responsibilities: Assist with leasing and resident applications Collect rent and maintain resident records Respond to residents’ questions and concerns Ensure compliance with HUD and Fair Housing Regulations Conduct move‑in, move‑out, and property inspections Coordinate maintenance requests and follow‑up Maintain files, reports, and office records Support overall property operations and resident satisfaction Report incidents and property issues promptly Perform other duties as assigned Does this sound like the position for you?
