Company Description Live Like Sam is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting young athletes through character-building programs, scholarship opportunities, and bullying prevention education. Founded in honor of Sam Jackenthal, an internationally ranked freeskier and competitive inline rollerblader, the organization focuses on helping young athletes, their parents, and coaches grow as people, not just performers. Live Like Sam promotes guiding principles centered on strong character, resilience, and community-minded behavior. Since its inception, the organization has awarded more than $100,000 in needs- and merit-based scholarships to young athletes who exemplify these values. Role Description The Marketing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Park City, MT. This role is responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns that increase awareness of Live Like Sam’s programs, scholarships, and events, and strengthen engagement with young athletes, families, coaches, donors, and community partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and managing digital and print marketing strategies, overseeing social media channels, coordinating content creation, and maintaining the organization’s website and email marketing initiatives. The Marketing Manager will collaborate with program staff to promote events and initiatives, manage branding across all communications, and track campaign performance and analytics to guide future efforts. This role also involves working with external partners, media contacts, and vendors to extend the organization’s reach and support fundraising, sponsorship, and community outreach activities. Qualifications Experience in marketing strategy and campaign management, including planning, execution, and performance tracking. Skills in digital marketing, such as social media management, email marketing, and basic website content updates. Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating clear, compelling marketing and outreach materials. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and external partners. Familiarity with nonprofit or youth-focused organizations, and an interest in youth sports, character development, or education. Proficiency with common marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media scheduling tools, email marketing software, basic design tools) is beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
