We invite you to join our team of Registered Nurses in the 36‑bed Psychiatric Acute Unit where the RNs are responsible for: Providing direct patient care, observation and management of behavioral health patients. Assessment, plan and implement care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. Takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team. Manage de‑escalation of behavioral disturbances This position is eligible for New Hire Incentives. Qualifications Required Experience/Specialized Skills: One (1) year of RN experience Current CA Registered Nurse License Current BLS from the American Heart Association Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing Previous RN experience in Behavioral Health and/or ED experience Scripps Health is an equal opportunity employer.
