Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine

Assignment Details
Contract Length: Minimum 10 weeks

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year Nuclear Medicine experience required
- ARRT(N) or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine certification) required
- ARRT(R) (Radiography) required
- BLS required
- New Mexico state license required (pending license accepted at submission)
- Preferred: PET license, CT license for PET/CT helpful (CT license can be pending)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures (cardiac, bone, HIDA, etc.).
- Operate SPECT and PET systems according to established protocols.
- Handle, store, and dispose of radioactive materials safely.
- Conduct venous blood draws and maintain peripheral IVs.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the electronic charting system (Cerner).
