Job Details – Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 - $2,430 (competitive travel nuclear medicine technologist pay)
• Location: Albuquerque, NM 87106 — New Mexico travel job
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (June 15, 2026 – September 14, 2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 – 15:30)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Setting: Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital, Children’s Hospital
• Parking: Free onsite parking
• Candidate Requirements: Non-local candidates only (no locals within 100 miles)

Required Qualifications – Nuclear Medicine Technologist

• Minimum 1 year clinical experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)
• National certifications: ARRT (N or NMTCB) and ARRT (R); BLS required
• New Mexico State License accepted (PET license preferred; pendable NM State License accepted)
• Experience with adult and geriatric cases required; pediatric experience preferred
• Proficiency with IV starts, phlebotomy, PACS, and radiopharmaceutical handling
• COVID and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

Core Responsibilities – PET/CT & SPECT/CT Technologist Duties

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging: cardiac, bone scans, HIDA, MUGA, renogram, liver/spleen, infection imaging
• Perform SPECT/CT imaging including infection imaging, MIBG, whole-body I-123/I-131, and Y-90 studies
• Operate PET/CT scanners for FDG, Dotatate, PSMA, and other PET radiopharmaceuticals
• Administer therapeutic procedures (I-131, Xofigo, Lutathera) and support theranostics workflows
• Handle outpatient and inpatient cases, IV starts, phlebotomy, and venous blood draws
• Store, handle, and dispose of radioactive materials safely following ALARA and RAM protocols
• Maintain accurate records and complete documentation in Cerner and PACS
• Collaborate with radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, and multidisciplinary care teams
