Elk Head Clothing is an independent Atlanta menswear brand built around a simple idea: sporty and refined. We combine athletic influences with premium materials, thoughtful construction, and a modern point of view. Our clothes are made for the modern sportsman —someone who cares about quality, fit, function, and how he presents himself. We're looking for a Store Lead who genuinely enjoys menswear, great clothing, and working with people. Someone who enjoys selling, cares about fit and quality, and is excited to keep learning and getting better. Because we're an independent company, your work is visible. You'll have real responsibility, the opportunity to share ideas, and a chance to help shape where Elk Head goes next.

THE ROLE

You're a seller and stylist first , while also helping lead the team and drive the store toward its goals. You'll: Take ownership of the store during your shifts Lead by example on the sales floor Build customer relationships and repeat business Set daily goals and create a plan to reach them Keep the team focused, motivated, and positive Maintain strong merchandising and store standards Help with inventory, operations, and training Share feedback and ideas with the Store Director Step into a leadership role when the Store Director isn't in the store

WHO ARE YOU?

We're looking for someone who gets excited about great clothing and great people. You don't need to be a fashion expert, but you should genuinely enjoy menswear and be curious about fabric, fit, construction, and style. Maybe you're naturally drawn to classic, well-made menswear with a strong point of view —the kind of clothing that's timeless, thoughtfully designed, and meant to be worn for years. Most importantly, you're someone who: Has a strong sense of personal style and enjoys selling Has a track record of working toward and achieving goals Takes initiative and sees opportunities Leads by example and brings positive energy Builds strong customer and team relationships Is open to feedback and always looking to improve Is hungry to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility Is curious about the business beyond the sales floor

EXPERIENCE

2+ years of retail experience is required , with premium menswear, contemporary fashion, lifestyle, or similar experience preferred. Leadership or management experience is a plus, but demonstrated initiative, problem-solving, and ownership matter just as much. You don't need to know everything coming in. You need to be willing to learn and get better every day.

WHY ELK HEAD?

You'll work directly with the Store Director and owner/designer and get to see how an independent brand is built. Because we're a small team, your work is visible. Your ideas can become real changes, and you'll see their impact on our customers and business. You’ll also gain experience in clientele, merchandising, inventory, operations, and growing a customer base and running a business.

$18–$20/hour based on experience + monthly performance bonuses Full-time | 36–40 hours/week 50% employee discount on Elk Head Clothing Monthly product allowance based on performance Flexible availability is important , including weekends, holidays, and occasional schedule changes based on the needs of the store.

Elk Head Clothing is an independent Atlanta menswear brand that has been in business for 12 years . Everything in our store is designed by our owner, with fabrics and materials sourced from Italy and Japan . Our owner and designer grew up playing rugby and hockey and hunting elk with his dad. Those experiences continue to influence the brand today. Elk Head was built around the modern sportsman —someone who appreciates performance and functionality but also cares about quality, fit, and how he presents himself.
