Role Purpose

The role purpose is to perform all job functions of each crew position, including customer service, product preparation, cash accountability, and front-line food preparation.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Be able to perform all job functions of each crew position, including customer service, product preparation, cash accountability, and front-line food preparation.
• Effectively lead the team during a shift to ensure that excellent restaurant operations are consistently achieved.
• Ensure the restaurant is properly organized and staffed as designated by written schedule through proper job assignments, break rotation and delegation of tasks during both peak and non-peak periods.
• Delegating duties, assigning specific tasks and ensuring team members prepare food items according to Charley's standards of quality, consistency and timeliness.
• Help train and develop team members and positively lead by example using Charley's 5 Steps of training.
• Contributes to a team environment by recognizing and reinforcing individual and team accomplishments.
• Follow Charley's operational policy and procedures, including those for cash handling, and inventory controls to ensure the safety of all team members and guests during each shift.
• Be certified in all positions and to train others on the position in order to help wherever needed.
• Ensure Key Practices are followed during the shift.
• Ensure team members follow health, food safety, and safety guidelines for a clean and safe environment.
• Inform immediate supervision promptly of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
• Accurately complete designated duties such as inventory control, ordering of products and cash control.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

• Must be able to pass the TSA federal background check to work in the airport.
• One or more years' restaurant experience (fast food/QSR supervisory experience preferred).
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a sense of urgency.
• Good problem solving and decision making skills.
• Able to exhibit excellent skills with the guests and team members.
• Supervise and motivate team members to perform to their highest possible level of ability.
• Takes initiative and always looking for improvement.
• Have a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
