Work Environment

This position allows for a remote work setting, enabling you to deliver therapy and counseling services to clients from the comfort of your own home or any space that promotes focus and tranquility. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to effectively identify co-occurring disorders and develop individualized treatment plans that cater to each client’s unique needs.
• Implement evidence-based strategies in both individual and group therapy settings, addressing issues related to addiction, trauma, and other prevalent mental health concerns.
• Regularly monitor and assess clients’ progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure continued effectiveness and engagement.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists, social workers, and addiction specialists—to provide holistic and integrated care.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health topics, addiction recovery processes, and coping strategies to foster understanding and support.
• Maintain accurate and secure client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the protection of confidential information.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on adults experiencing addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will help clients navigate complex emotions and challenges that arise during their recovery journey while fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic environment. Understanding the specific cultural and individual backgrounds of each client will be essential to delivering personalized care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Currently valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, particularly in addiction and recovery settings.
• Training or specialization in rehabilitation mental health is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms and digital tools for therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, you will enjoy:
