DaVinci Resolve Editor / Colorist

Role Overview

Apply your DaVinci Resolve, video editing, and color-grading expertise to help create high-quality annotated video data for AI training. This remote contract role offers an opportunity to use real-world audiovisual post-production skills in a structured, detail-focused project. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Annotate video data in DaVinci Resolve according to detailed project guidelines, maintaining accuracy and consistency.
• Use color correction and grading knowledge to evaluate and interpret footage characteristics.
• Review, label, and comment on video clips to create structured training data.
• Assess audiovisual content for quality, clarity, and technical attributes against specified parameters.
• Work remotely with project coordinators and provide feedback on annotation processes and tools.
• Document decision-making approaches and communicate insights that support model improvement.
• Meet project milestones and follow submission protocols.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DaVinci Resolve experience in a post-production setting.
• Proficiency in video editing, color correction, and grading fundamentals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with close attention to detail and clear annotations.
• Experience with digital video formats and an understanding of technical specifications.
• Interest or experience in data annotation or structured labeling is helpful but not required.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and follow complex instructions.
• Openness to feedback and willingness to refine annotation strategies as project needs change.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $15 to $80 per hour.
