SUMMARY You will provide expert post‑anesthesia care for patients recovering from a diverse range of procedures, from quick outpatient surgeries to complex, high‑risk cases, ensuring patients' smooth recovery and safe transition to their next phase of care—whether inpatient, outpatient discharge, or critical care. Under the direction of the department director/charge nurse, you will provide care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. RESPONSIBILITIES Work with a wide range of acuity and procedures, including gynecology, urology, vascular, cardiac, pulmonary, trauma, orthopedics, plastics, neurosurgery, gastroenterology, and interventional radiology. Provide immediate post‑anesthesia care, prioritizing life‑sustaining needs and critical thinking. Build strong, trusting relationships with surgeons and anesthesia providers, fostering a supportive and empowered team environment. EXPERIENCE One year critical care or PACU experience. SPECIAL SKILLS Hemodynamics Phlebotomy Airway management OTHER Basic computer skills.
