Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during various dental procedures and ensure a smooth workflow. Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans. Oversee sterilization of instruments and maintain a clean and organized operatory. Train and mentor junior dental assistants, fostering a collaborative environment. Provide exceptional patient care by addressing concerns and ensuring comfort. Schedule appointments and manage patient follow-ups effectively. Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols. Assist in inventory management and ordering dental supplies as needed. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a dental assistant, with leadership experience a plus. Current CPR and AED certification required. Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficient in dental software and Microsoft Office Suite.
