Multi-Modality Tech

Our client, a leading health system in Durango, CO, is seeking a Multi-Modality Tech to provide quality patient care within two or more medical imaging departments. In this role, you will perform high-quality images and exams while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs and adhering to safe radiation practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate various imaging equipment and position patients for different exams.
• Act as a clinical resource to unit personnel and serve as a role model for other associate technologists.
• Produce quality images in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
• Provide information and instruction to patients and/or families regarding procedures and respond to their physical and emotional needs.
• Perform technologist duties of other registered modalities as assigned by management.
• Observe patients and equipment during procedures, reporting/documenting unusual occurrences and recording patients' conditions.
• Notify supervisor of equipment problems and log service calls/problems per department procedure.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• One (1) year imaging experience.
• Registered Technologist, Radiology ARRT (R).
• Any of the following: ARRT (CT), ARRT (M), R.T.(R)(VI)(ARRT), R.T.(R)(CV)(ARRT).
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly.

Compensation

• $37.59 - $63.31/hour
