Salary & Benefits Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Professional development assistance Bonus pay (Supplemental Pay) Job Type & Schedule Full-time Monday to Friday (8:00 am – 5:00 pm) Location Hybrid Office/Travel; single location. What You Can Expect Our system is unique; this is an in‑person position meeting with business owners and key decision‑makers to discuss life and supplemental health benefits for their employees. Responsibilities Independent Benefits Specialist/Contractor uses our proprietary lead‑management system to meet with business owners and key decision‑makers to discuss life and supplemental health benefits for their employees. We work in a fast‑paced team environment, handle agency growth, and deliver unique programs valued in the communities we serve. Qualifications High school or equivalent (Preferred) Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred) Valid driver’s license Must obtain relevant insurance licenses Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Motivated and coachable Licensed insurance agents a plus – Life and Health insurance license Have leadership ability Two (2) to three (3) years of sales experience with thorough knowledge of sales techniques Possess a valid driver’s license Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical journals or governmental regulations Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the general public Ability to create, design and implement solutions to general and customer‑specific problems Ability to self‑direct various assigned initiatives and work under limited supervision Working Conditions Work involves extended periods of driving resulting in exposure to high vehicle traffic and extended periods of sitting Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions of heat, cold and humidity Noise level is usually moderate but can become loud Additional Information A job for which military‑experienced candidates are encouraged to apply A good fit for applicants with gaps in their resume, or who have been out of the workforce for the past six months or more A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education A job for which all ages, including older job seekers, are encouraged to apply Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma #J-18808-Ljbffr HHE Staffing
