The Pharmacy Cash Applications Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our accounts receivable — ensuring payments are processed properly so care can continue without disruption.In this role, you'll contribute to work that:Supports uninterrupted patient access to infusion therapiesEnsures financial accuracy and transparency across pharmacy and medical billingEnables clinicians and revenue teams to focus on care, not reworkStrengthens a growing, clinician?led organization focused on trust and outcomesYour work helps create clarity — for patients, providers, and the organization.What You'll DoIn this role, you will:Perform daily reconciliation and posting of pharmacy and major medical claim payments for accounts receivableProcess and apply payments from ERAs, EFTs, lockbox deposits, and other cash and non?cash transactionsAccurately post payments, adjustments, denials, write?offs, refunds, and credit balances both electronically and manuallyReview EOBs to reconcile payments, identify discrepancies, and ensure correct contractual adjustmentsPrepare and maintain daily deposit batches and supporting documentationReconcile posted checks received with deposited amounts and maintain audit?ready recordsFlag denials, unusual payment variances, and high?impact contractual adjustments for follow?upProcess incoming correspondence related to payments, denials, and account activityCommunicate with pharmacy staff, field teams, and patients as needed to resolve payment questionsMaintain strict adherence to HIPAA, internal cash controls, and financial policiesBring accuracy, consistency, and follow?through to daily financial operationsWhat We're Looking ForYou may be a great fit if you bring:A strong attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracyComfort working with high transaction volumes and complex payment dataClear communication skills across clinical, financial, and operational teamsOwnership mentality and pride in getting things right the first timeA desire to contribute to a patient?first healthcare organizationRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentThree (3)–five (5) years of experience in cash posting within a medical or pharmacy environmentWorking knowledge of medical terminologyUnderstanding of ICD?10, HCPCS, CPT, and HER coding conceptsStrong understanding of revenue cycle processes, insurance billing, and banking reconciliationProficiency with Microsoft Office, including ExcelAbility to maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and applicable regulationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsCertificate, Associate's, or Bachelor's degreeExperience with CPR+, Caretend, WeInfuse, or similar pharmacy/billing systemsYou don't need to check every box — we care just as much about how you show up as your credentials.Why LUX InfusionAt LUX Infusion, we believe care deserves more light — more warmth, more clarity, and more connection.Here, you'll find:Purpose?driven work that supports patient access to careA patient?first, clinician?led cultureStrong collaboration across finance, pharmacy, and operationsClear expectations and defined processesOpportunities to grow within a healthcare organization building something meaningfulCome help ensure financial clarity supports compassionate care — and see what's possible when care comes first.Pay Range/Rate$24 - $26 USDPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here represent those required for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
