Front Office Representative

The Radisson Hotel Sunnyvale – Silicon Valley is seeking an energetic and detail oriented full‑time front office representative who will provide superior guest service in a fast‑paced hotel environment, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Receive and process incoming guests, ensuring a delightful, seamless arrival and departure experience. Greet guests, process hotel registration and related transactions. Keep current on hotel accommodations, services and local attractions, and update the communication log accordingly. Handle all guest compliments, comments, observations and challenges in a timely manner to achieve full guest satisfaction; record resolutions on the “Make it Right” log. Collaborate with other departments to arrange requested services for guests. Prepare end‑of‑shift summaries and communications for management and succeeding shifts. Encourage daily upselling of guest accommodations and promote hotel amenities, food and beverage outlets, hotel services and the loyalty program. Make reservations in accordance with the hotel’s yield‑management practices. Process customer credit at check‑in in accordance with hotel policy and data‑privacy standards, obtaining required approvals and signatures. Answer and field all calls to the hotel, both internal and external. Identify and record special billing instructions and notify Accounting. Follow hotel policy on cash banks, maintain confidentiality of guest information, and ensure compliance with all security and privacy procedures. Create 100% guest satisfaction by delivering the Radisson experience with genuine hospitality and by exceeding guest expectations. Listen, apologize with empathy, find solutions, and follow through when resolving guest problems. Assume responsibility to monitor guest satisfaction and use discretion in applying the 100% Guest Satisfaction protocol. Perform other duties required by management to provide 100% Guest Satisfaction and genuine hospitality. Requirements & Qualifications Strong customer‑service experience required. Previous hotel experience preferred. Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when handling all situations. Solid computer skills. Ability to push or pull up to 30lbs. Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends. Excellent communication skills. Team‑spirit and willingness to work collaboratively. Opera systems experience preferred. Physical ability to stand, stoop or bend for an entire shift and lift up to 20lbs. Benefits Competitive compensation of $21.00/hr.
