HR Communications Specialist

Job Summary The HR Communications Specialist is an individual‑contributor role responsible for enhancing employee adoption of HR programs through effective communications. The incumbent contributes to the full range of communications campaigns targeted at employees, applicants, and retirees using print and digital channels that align with the CF brand and style guide. Responsibilities Assist the Manager, HR Communications in developing content for a variety of HR campaigns. Own the HR communications editorial calendar to ensure timely production and distribution of content. Support HR communications campaigns by contributing to research, ideation, strategy, content creation, design, and delivery. Write initial drafts of materials such as emails, newsletters, web portal updates, print brochures, and handouts. Design basic graphic elements and digital imagery used in campaigns. Curate and maintain the digital image library for HR communications. Apply the CF brand identity, style guide, and persona definitions to all content. Update and maintain content on internal intranet pages and the external total rewards website. Track and analyze engagement statistics to evaluate communication effectiveness. Apply CF’s Change Management process to projects and campaigns. Coordinate with third‑party vendors for execution of communications deliverables. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, graphic design, or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. 4+ years of related professional experience preferred. Outstanding writing skills for digital and print channels. Demonstrated basic design skills (color, contrast, layout) to support communication objectives. Experience in a corporate or internal communications role preferred. Advanced skills as a SharePoint Online Power User for site content management and navigation. Ability to lead and manage communications campaigns. Compensation and Benefits Estimated base pay: $75,400 – $99,600. Base pay may vary based on education, training, skills, qualifications, experience, and role scope. Incentive program available to all full‑time employees. Comprehensive benefits package including two medical plan options, health savings plan with company contribution and match, dental and vision benefits, well‑being incentive program. 401(k) plan with employer contribution of 10% to 13%.
