Shipping And Receiving Leader

The Shipping And Receiving Leader is responsible for leading a team in receiving incoming and preparing outbound mail. In this role, one must be able to provide elite client service and have a strong sense of urgency and impeccable attention to detail. Develop and maintain relationships with all stakeholders and team members.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead a team of individuals that are directly supporting the following
• Scanning in all inbound packages as received
• Deliver received packages, scan delivered and get signature of who received package
• Deliver Inter-Office mail
• Prepare File Room documents on pallets for Corrigan Shredding CO.
• Open and/or separate USPS to be delivered to teams/individuals
• Assist team members with postage and shipping needs
• Assist teams within United Services as needed
• Deliver mail between all UWM buildings
• Monitor mailing supplies needed
• Maintain daily inbound and outbound mail counts for reporting volume
• Perform all leadership responsibilities
• Monday-Friday shift 8-5
• Overtime and weekends when needed

What We Need From You

Must Have Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in mailroom or shipping and receiving
• 3+ years team leader/supervisor experience
• Familiarity with Pitney Bowes software a plus
• High School Diploma
• Sense of urgency
• Excellent communication skills
• Client-focused
• Able to lift over 50 pounds
• Able to operate push cart or hand cart/trolley
