Primary Purpose SQFI operates a global food safety certification program supported by interconnected data systems, enterprise applications, and third‑party integrations. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, integrity, and operational effectiveness of SQFI’s systems and data while delivering assigned projects on time and with high quality. The Manager, SQFI Systems & Data Operations serves as a hands‑on operational leader who owns execution, delivers solutions to secure operational goals, supports integrations and safeguards data accuracy and integrity across systems, and drives resolution of system and process issues in partnership with internal teams, customers, and external vendors. The Manager will also contribute to customer engagement workflow. System & Data Integrity Ensure and validate data integrity and accuracy across existing and future SQFI systems through proactive monitoring, reconciliation, and issue resolution. Maintain accuracy and consistency of data exchanged between internal platforms, third‑party systems, and reporting environments. Independently troubleshoot production issues and drive timely resolution with minimal supervision. Project Execution & Delivery Ownership Own execution of assigned projects and system enhancements, including timelines, QA validation, stakeholder communication, and delivery readiness. Manage assigned workstreams, track milestones, communicate risks early, and ensure timely completion of deliverables. Perform quality assurance testing for all projects to confirm solutions meet documented functional and business requirements prior to release. Reporting, Analysis & Documentation Create data models and dashboards in various platforms that communicate key performance indicators, trends, solutions, opportunities and risks to leadership. Develop clear, executive reports, status updates and presentations to support informed decision‑making and to tell a data‑driven story. Create and oversee the development of user guides, training materials, and process documentation for supported systems. Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination Serve as the primary liaison between SQFI teams, customers, and external vendors for assigned systems and initiatives. Ensure all third‑party vendor agreements are adhered to and work is performed in a timely manner and based on requirements outlined in all agreements. Ensure vendor deliverables align with contractual requirements, timelines, and quality expectations. Escalate risks strategically and provide recommended solutions to leadership when issues arise. Operational Support & Team Enablement Provide structured support to customer service and global SQFI teams related to system functionality, troubleshooting, and workflow questions. Train internal or external users on new features, process updates, and system best practices. Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes, data quality controls, and user adoption. Other Job Functions Provide project management support for projects to successful completion. Other duties and projects as assigned or directed. Physical Requirements Normal office environment requiring the use of typical business equipment (e.g., computer, telephone, fax, and copier). Ability to travel to events to perform work off‑site. The person in this position will be eligible to work a hybrid work schedule Monday through Thursday requiring a minimum of two days in the office per week during that four‑day period. Every Friday will be a remote workday (unless business needs require the person to be in the office). This person will also be required to be in the office for a minimum of three days per quarter for all‑staff “In‑Service” days. Education, Technical Skills and Other Required Experience Minimum of three to five years of hands‑on responsibility supporting production systems, enterprise applications, data quality, or system integrations. Must have prior experience working with data architecture, data analysis or database management. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related technical field preferred. Ability to deliver assigned projects and enhancements on schedule with documented Quality Assurance approval. Must be able to maintain high data accuracy and consistency across integrated SQFI systems. Ability to resolve production issues through troubleshooting of applications and components within defined response timelines and prevent recurring defects. Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, or dashboard development (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar). Proven ability to document processes, develop training materials, and support user adoption. Knowledge of computers and technology, including but not limited to Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams. Advanced competency with Excel and modular workflow systems. Working knowledge of databases, system integrations, or data architecture concepts. Experience administering or supporting CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot) is strongly preferred, including configuration, user support, reporting, or workflow management. Ability to perform structured testing, validation, and quality assurance for system changes. Strong project coordination and task management skills with attention to timelines and detail. Must have proven track record of demonstrating ownership of deliverables, including execution, troubleshooting, and resolution of operational issues. Excellent oral and written communication skills (including editing and proofreading). Strong presentation development and executive oral and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear, audience‑appropriate messaging. Three to five years of project management experience, with an ability to organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks with strict attention to detail to streamline our processes and recommend program efficiencies. Ability to work independently with strict attention to detail. Strong analytical thinking and practical problem‑solving abilities. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with team members at various levels within the organization as well as vendors and outside stakeholders. Ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations. Pay Range $87,000 to $114,900 (annually) *This salary range reflects the minimum and maximum annual compensation for this position and has been established in good faith and in accordance with Virginia and federal law. Individual salary offers within this range will be based on the candidate's relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, and other job‑related factors.
