NSC Staffing is seeking dependable and motivated Machine Operators / Production Workers to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for operating production equipment, packaging finished products, maintaining quality standards, and supporting daily manufacturing activities.
The ideal candidate has previous manufacturing experience, a strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and a commitment to safety and quality.


Position Overview
The Machine Operator / Production Worker supports production operations by operating manufacturing equipment, monitoring product quality, packaging finished goods, and assisting with general plant operations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining production efficiency while ensuring products meet company quality standards.
Successful candidates will be safety-conscious team players who can work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.



Key Responsibilities

Production Operations

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor equipment performance during production runs.
• Assist with setup and basic operation of manufacturing machinery.
• Support production schedules while maintaining quality standards.

Packaging & Material Handling

• Package finished products according to company requirements.
• Inspect products prior to packaging to ensure quality standards are met.
• Move materials and finished products throughout the production area as required.
• Maintain organized workstations and production areas.

Quality Control

• Monitor production processes for quality issues.
• Identify and report product defects or production concerns.
• Report equipment malfunctions or operational issues to Team Leads or the Plant Manager.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce waste and increase productivity.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Participate in safety meetings and training as required.

General Production Support

• Assist with various manufacturing and production activities as needed.
• Support team members to help achieve production goals.
• Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attendance record and reliability.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Desire to learn new skills and grow within a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience.
• Experience operating production equipment or machinery.
• Familiarity with quality control and manufacturing processes.
• Experience working in industrial or warehouse environments.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and production facility environment.
• Exposure to machinery, production equipment, and varying noise levels.
• Fast-paced environment with daily production goals and deadlines.
• Required use of PPE as determined by company safety policies.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
• Ability to safely perform production tasks throughout the work shift.
• Must be able to work in varying manufacturing conditions and temperatures.

The anticipated salary range represents the estimated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors and may vary from the posted range.
