Local Delivery Driver (Class B w/Hazmat & Airbrakes) Location: Houston, TX – South Loop Retail Shop. As an Airgas Service & Delivery Professional, you will safely deliver compressed gas cylinders to local and regional customers, maintain accurate records, ensure safety compliance, support warehouse operations, and build positive customer relationships. Responsibilities Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to customer locations. Accurately record deliveries and pickups on a load manifest, obtaining customer signatures for receipt. Collect, return, or dispose of empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders as required. Adhere to all Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations, including DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA. Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed. Qualifications Valid Texas Class A or B Commercial Driver's License. Valid Medical Examiner's Card. Hazmat certification required. No more than two traffic convictions or at‑fault accidents in the last three years. At least one year of CDL driving experience in the last five years, or recent completion of a trucking school program. Minimum age 21 years. Ability to read and comprehend safety data sheets. Physical ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs.; occasionally lift 76–125 lbs. with aid of equipment. Ability to drive hazardous cargo for up to eight hours; frequent bending required. Work independently under pressure to meet deadlines. Forklift operator certification or ability to obtain one. Benefits Pay: $26 per hour. Bonus potential. Work schedule: Monday‑Friday, day shift.
