Senior Director, Global Marketing Cell Therapy

AstraZeneca seeks a Senior Director of Global Marketing for its Cell Therapy Enterprise to develop and execute commercial strategy for a pipeline of cell therapies across multiple disease areas. This role shapes early-stage market positioning, launch plans, and go-to-market models while partnering across research, clinical, regulatory, and commercial functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop global brand strategy, launch plan, and go-to-market model including positioning and promotional approach
• Build global commercial capabilities, customer journeys, and treatment delivery models to support launch readiness
• Partner across medical, regulatory, market access, and manufacturing teams to align development and commercialization plans
• Translate global strategy into regional implementation plans and serve as commercial subject matter expert to markets
• Monitor launch readiness KPIs, track performance, and manage global brand budget and agency partnerships

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience in marketing, sales, research, analytics, or commercial leadership
• Direct cell therapy, gene therapy, or advanced therapy experience; global market exposure preferred
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple indications simultaneously
• Track record shaping early commercial strategy and influencing development decisions for pipeline assets
• Proven ability to develop business cases and influence senior stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific discipline; MBA, PhD, PharmD, or advanced degree preferred
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities independently with strong cross-functional collaboration skills

Compensation: $231,988-$347,983 base annual salary
