Senior Accountant

Job Summary: The Senior Accountant plays a critical, hands-on role in the company’s accounting function by driving accuracy, efficiency and consistently across the company’s financial operations this role. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day general ledger (GL) accounting, operations, preparing and analyzing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies. Duties/Responsibilities: Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts. Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger close activities with accuracy and timeliness. Prepare complete and accurate financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow) in compliance with U.S. GAAP. Support management with operational KPIs. Partner cross-functionally to support the launch of new business initiatives, expansion projects, and operational growth investments. Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline the monthly close, reporting, and reconciliation processes. Lead collection efforts across multiple legal entities to maximize cash collections, reduce aging receivables and improve days sales outstanding (DSO). Support ongoing business operations and drive cross-functional collaboration to improve efficiency, communication, and execution across departments. Perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of management. Required Experience & Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in corporate accounting Proficient technical accounting skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, NetSuite preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally. Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability. Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
