Position Overview We are hiring Associate Veterinarians in Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Lake Oswego, Vancouver & surrounding areas to provide compassionate, in‑home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care. As an Associate Veterinarian, you will work independently in the field while being fully supported by a collaborative medical leadership team, dedicated Veterinary Care Specialists (VCS), and strong operational infrastructure. Collaborate with Heartstrings’ medical leadership and support teams. Participate in ongoing training, education, and clinical development. Requirements Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS) from an accredited veterinary school. Active or ability to obtain a veterinary license in the state of practice. Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license. Availability to work some weekends as part of a rotating schedule. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
