Telemarketing Representative / Appointment Setter

Insight Global is seeking a Telemarketing Representative / Appointment Setter to support one of our waste and recycling clients in Southern California. This individual will play a key role in helping the organization accelerate customer acquisition efforts following a major municipal franchise award. This person will work through a targeted list of approximately 2,000 commercial prospects currently utilizing competing waste haulers. The primary responsibility will be conducting outbound calls, qualifying interest, educating prospects on available services, and scheduling appointments for the client's outside sales team. The ideal candidate is energetic, resilient, and comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily. While CRM experience is preferred, personality, persistence, and communication skills will be the most important factors for success. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outbound calls to commercial prospects from a defined customer list, building interest and educating businesses on service offerings, qualifying prospective customers and identifying sales opportunities, scheduling appointments for Sales Executives and Business Development Managers, maintaining accurate customer notes and activity tracking within Salesforce, following up with prospects as needed to drive engagement, and meeting daily and weekly activity metrics. Pay: $18-20 depending on experience.
