As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist guests, staff, and visitors with professionalism. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.05 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to guests, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the cultural venue, including public areas, event spaces, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas. Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized access, disruptive behavior, and other security-related concerns. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience. Possess at least 4 years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
