Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 5 months
• Pay Rate: $77.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: D/N rotating shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM / 7:00 AM–7:30 PM (3×12 Hours). Shifts may be variable if needed to meet the operational needs of the hospital. Facility will do their best to honor the traveler's preferred shift but reserves the right to rotate them if necessary.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool RN position at a main campus hospital, with potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and ED to care for the same patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Float within the MS/Tele Float Pool, with potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and ED to care for the same patient population.
• Provide winter coverage across assigned units as needed to meet operational needs of the hospital.
• Work at least every other holiday as required by facility policy.
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation; an acceptable score on both is required.

Required Skills

• Must have 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for (preferable to be within one location but can be combined).
• Must also have 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience — travel experience will suffice.

Education Requirements

• Permanent Ohio RN License or Compact State License — must be in hand at time of submission.
• AHA or client BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• COVID-19 vaccination required (Medical/Religious Exemptions only).
• Flu vaccination required (Medical/Religious Exemptions only).

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• D/N rotating shift environment; shifts may vary based on hospital operational needs.
• Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
