GDI Business Analyst Intern - OVIP

Job Description The Veterans and Military Spouses Internship Program (OVIP) is a 40‑hour per week paid internship designed to help transitioning military veterans and active‑duty military spouses enter the private or public sector. The position offers hands‑on job skill training and professional development in fields such as information technology, consulting, support, finance, HR, logistics, marketing, sales, and customer support. Hourly wage: $30 per hour. Responsibilities Successful candidate will work in the Oracle Government, Defense & Intelligence team supporting Federal Compliance and Federal Sales Teams. The Business Analyst role includes: Supporting federal compliance initiatives. Assisting the GDI Performance Management team to keep documentation, processes and policies up‑to‑date and adopted. Supporting design and development of process and documentation for CMMC and related efforts. Maintaining business relationships with stakeholders on information security requirements. Supporting additional/related GDI Performance Management initiatives in an ad‑hoc capacity. Collaborating with other Oracle One Federal teams. Required Skills & Experience Experience with Cybersecurity and Information Security. Understanding of NIST SP 800‑53, NIST SP 800‑171, CMMC, DFARS (desired but not required). Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols. Fundamental knowledge of security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti‑virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc. Ability to communicate security issues to peers, management, customers and end‑users. Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure. US Citizens with ability to obtain a US security clearance if needed. Desired Skills & Experience Knowledge of standards and requirements with application security. Knowledge and expertise in risk, information security and environment management projects. Strong multi‑tasker with a keen eye for detail. Organized and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. Qualifications US Veteran transitioning from active service or Military Spouse new to corporate experience preferred. Hiring Range & Benefits US: Hiring range $18.17 to $34.62 per hour; $37,800 to $72,000 per annum.
