Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving diverse student populations across multiple school sites in the Riverside, CA area. This full-time role runs through the end of the 2026-2027 school year, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative, supportive educational environment. As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll connect with students of various age groups and needs, providing essential therapies in both traditional school and itinerant settings.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Occupational Therapy license required
- Experience in school-based OT, home health, or healthcare OT settings preferred
- Ability to adapt to different student populations and site requirements
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and productive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students across assigned school sites
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, monitor student progress, and adjust therapeutic strategies accordingly
- Facilitate adaptive skills and support participation in classroom activities
- Maintain accurate records and timely reporting as required by school policies
