Job Description As a Security Guard Armed Driver with Active Clearance Mobile Patrol in Culpeper, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations with professionalism, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $27.76 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: An Armed Guard Card or License is required. An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR Certification is preferred. Pepper Spray Certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
