Immediate need for a talented Senior Financial Analyst with experience in the Banking & Financial Industry. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Plano, TX. Please review the job description below.

Key Responsibilities:

• To support SEC reporting team position that has been repurposed to another team/role for now.
• This position is primarily responsible for our reporting and internal control processes for SEC reporting.
• The role may also support the Japan reporting team, complete due diligence, and government reporting and other department projects and initiatives.
• This candidate will interact with various groups throughout the organization to obtain financial information necessary for the preparation of required reports

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word required (Excel should be decent, but nothing too complex).
• 5 years of professional accounting and/or financial statement auditing and/or financial reporting experience.
• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Economics with demonstrated academic achievement.
• Excellent communication, relationship building, interpersonal and organizing skills required.
• Ability to work independently and problem solve.
• Ability to work periodic overtime during the quarter end close reporting period.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Big 4 or Public accounting experience highly preferred.
• Financial Services industry experience highly preferred.
• Experience with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management software a plus.
