The department provides subject matter expertise in concept development, architectural design, requirements generation and flow‑down, modeling and simulation, systems analysis, integration, test, and evaluation of world‑class Missile Defense and Sensor Systems. If you’re passionate about what you could accomplish here, we’d love to hear from you.What You Will DoLead the development of architectures and requirements to define, characterize, develop, and document Ground‑Based Radar (GBR) systems, including architectural framework updates, system‑of‑systems functional and performance requirements, algorithm descriptions, test scenario definitions, and verification approaches.Perform requirements analysis and benchmarking to validate algorithm designs and ensure system‑level performance meets operational objectives.Collaborate closely with software and integration/test engineering teams to deliver innovative, high‑performing radar solutions.Work onsite in Woburn, MA.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.Experience with Radar Systems and/or other related areas of systems engineering.Experience with radar signal processing, signal processing theory, and/or signal modeling.Experience with MATLAB, Python, and/or LINUX OS platforms.Qualifications We PreferExperience with radar system concepts, including detection, discrimination, tracking, and signal‑processing algorithms; ability to analyze radar requirements and performance through models, algorithms, test vectors, and evaluation tools.Proven system‑level engineering experience, including requirements development, documentation, maintenance, and system‑level software architecture design.Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain engineering processes, methods, and tools; strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with a history of delivering innovative technical solutions.Proficiency in programming languages and tools such as C/C++, Java, DOORS, and familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including technical writing, presentations, customer interfacing, and cross‑discipline teamwork in distributed environments.Ability to work independently or collaboratively, with experience leading technical solution developmentAdvanced Degree in STEMWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
