Qualifications:
- Current state certification in Special Education (or eligibility in Nebraska)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and implementation
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to individual student needs
- Experience in a school or educational setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and challenges
- Modify lessons and instructional techniques to support all learners
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed to ensure academic growth
- Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster a positive learning experience
- Maintain accurate records and ongoing communication with all stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
