SPRING - SOFTBALL - HEAD COACH - GIRLS

Softball Head Coach – Hatboro‑Horsham High School The Softball Head Coach will design, implement, and supervise all aspects of the high‑school softball program, working closely with student‑athletes, the coaching staff, and the school community to foster athletic excellence and personal growth. Responsibilities Develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions, drills, and scrimmages that emphasize skill development, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Plan and conduct competitive preparations, including seasonal workouts, tactical meetings, and game‑day strategies. Ensure compliance with PIAA rules and regulations, maintaining accurate records and reporting requirements. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for secondary students, promoting academic priorities and personal responsibility. Communicate regularly with parents, school administrators, and other stakeholders regarding program progress and student welfare. Attend all scheduled games, practices, and staff meetings; be available for additional events as required. Qualifications Strong desire to work with student‑athletes, displaying enthusiasm, patience, organization, maturity, dependability, and responsibility. Demonstrated knowledge of PIAA rules and fundamentals of softball. Availability for game, practice, and meeting times throughout the season. Preferred experience as a player or coach at the secondary or collegiate level. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
