A community hospital in Arkansas, boasting over 500 beds and designated as a Level II Trauma Center, is on the lookout for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist to become part of their well-established team of five physicians. This presents an exceptional chance for fellows seeking expert mentorship or for experienced practitioners ready to step into a role with immediate patient volume.
While experience in ERCP and EGD is preferred, it is not mandatory.
Visa sponsorship options, including J1 and H1B, are available.
Practice and Opportunity:- Joining a collaborative team of five Gastroenterologists
- Strong workplace culture with low turnover rates
- Transitioning to the EPIC electronic health record system across the organization
- Clinic hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM
- Morning schedule: 10-13 procedures; Afternoon schedule: 10-14 clinic patients
- Common procedures include ERCP, Colonoscopy, EGD, esophageal dilation, and capsule studies
- Light on-call responsibilities: 1:6 ratio, with minimal need to return to the hospital
- Guaranteed base salary ranging from $600,000 to $625,000, transitioning to wRVU productivity model
- Potential for ownership in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
- Signing bonus and relocation stipend offered
- Fellowship stipend available
- Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness program
The city is situated on the scenic south bank of a beautiful river, enjoying a mild climate with average high temperatures around 72°F and lows around 51°F. It is home to two prominent universities and features excellent public and private educational institutions. Residents can enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking in state parks or leisurely biking and walking along picturesque river trails. The area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, offering numerous lakes, rivers, and opportunities for hiking, biking, camping, hunting, fishing, and a wide range of other outdoor sports.
