As a Dairy/Frozen Department Manager, you'll lead daily operations, manage inventory, support team members, and ensure fresh, high-quality products and excellent customer service in a fast-paced grocery store environment. What You Get Weekly pay + competitive wages Employee-Owned (ESOP) - earn company stock at no cost to you Full-time, stable hours Leadership development and advancement opportunities Hands-on experience in grocery operations and inventory management Opportunity to grow within store leadership roles A team-focused environment where you can take ownership What You'll Do Oversee daily operations of the dairy and frozen foods department Ensure shelves, coolers, and freezers are stocked, rotated, and organized Monitor product quality, freshness, and storage temperatures Manage inventory levels, ordering, and shrink reduction efforts Conduct inventory counts and adjust orders based on sales trends Supervise, train, schedule, and support department team members Maintain attractive product displays, signage, and pricing accuracy Assist customers with product questions and special requests Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulationsCollaborate with store leadership and vendors on product selection and deliveries Support promotional plans, merchandising, and department sales goals What We're Looking For Previous grocery, dairy/frozen, retail, or department management experience preferred Strong leadership and team management skills Knowledge of inventory control, ordering, and product rotation Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic math and reading skills for inventory tracking and reporting Experience with POS systems and inventory software preferred Flexible full-time availability (days, evenings, weekends, holidays) Work Environment Grocery store dairy and frozen foods department Frequent exposure to refrigerated coolers and freezer environments Standing for extended periods; lifting up to 50 lbs This is not an official description but represents major responsibilities a new hire can expect to perform. #J-18808-Ljbffr
