Job Description:


- Join a Dynamic Surgical Team: Be a vital part of the surgical care team, delivering exceptional care to surgical patients while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative Environment: Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals to ensure seamless procedures. Your role is crucial in contributing to the efficient functioning of the Surgery Department!
- Diverse Responsibilities:
- Surgical Technologist Duties:
- Prepare and pick instrument sets for surgeries, ensuring all necessary equipment is on hand.
- Scrub in, gown, and glove yourself and the team members for procedures.
- Drape patients and assist the surgeon with sterile techniques.
- Maintain proper techniques throughout the procedure, ensuring no compromises in sterility.
- Count sponges and sharps in collaboration with the Circulating Nurse.
- Anticipate the surgeon's needs to prevent delays during surgery.
- Act as first assistant when needed, handling instruments and preserving specimens.
- Assist in training and orientation of new personnel.
- Sterile Processing Technician Duties:
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper care of all surgical equipment.
- Maintain necessary supply levels in sterile storage areas, including organizing and stocking trays.
- Run and monitor sterilization equipment, ensuring all tools are decontaminated according to protocols.
- Distribute instruments within the facility and record sterilizer test results.
