The team fosters innovation and drives engineering workflows of the future, shared solutions and standards, simplicity and lower costs, and manufacturable design.**About the Role**We are seeking an experienced and motivated lab Supervisor to lead a team of development and test technicians. In this role, you will mentor and develop a team, and ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. You will play a key role in supporting engineering development activities and driving continuous improvement within the lab environment.**Responsibilities*** Supervise, coach, and develop a team of development lab technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.* Plan, prioritize, and assign daily work to meet development schedules and program milestones.* Ensure all lab activities are conducted in compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and established procedures.* Partner with engineering teams to support development testing, prototyping, and hardware builds.* Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.* Train and onboard new technicians, ensuring proper skill development and adherence to best practices.* Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and safety.* Manage lab resources, including tools, equipment, and consumables, ensuring availability and proper maintenance.* Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reporting related to lab operations and activities.* Support root cause analysis and corrective action efforts when issues arise.* Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality.**Minimum Qualifications*** High school diploma or equivalent.* 4+ years of relevant experience in aerospace labs, manufacturing, or technical operations environment.* 1+ years of experience in a leadership, supervisory, or team lead role.* Strong understanding of safety practices and quality standards.* Proficiency with data tracking, reporting, and productivity tools.* Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.* Experience mentoring or training entry-level employees.**Physical Requirements*** Ability to stand, walk, and work in a lab environment for extended periods.* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed.**Preferred Qualifications*** Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering-related field.* Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and procedures.* Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.### Base Pay Range for:WA applicants is $47.82 - $66.94**Other site ranges may differ** **Culture Statement**Don’t meet all desired requirements?
