TravelNurseSource is working with All Medical Personnel to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in St. Paul, Minnesota, 55076!

Job Title: RN - Post Operations

Location: Saint Paul, MN | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type:
Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts | Start times at 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, or 11:00 AM | Weekends as needed per unit needs

Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in PACU, Pre-Op, and Phase 2 settings across two locations within the same hospital campus
Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio, delivering close post-anesthesia monitoring and recovery support
Float between the main hospital and the Day Surgery Center as needed to meet facility demands
Document all patient care accurately using Epic (Excellian) electronic health records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital and Level 3 trauma environment

Required Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota or eligibility to obtain one (license in hand preferred)
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in PACU or related specialty
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
Proficiency with Epic (Excellian) electronic health records required
Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Fingerprinting required as part of the compliance process; candidates must complete LiveScan prints as early as possible, as results may take up to 3–4 weeks

Preferred Experience / Skills:
Experience working in a teaching hospital or trauma-designated facility
Familiarity with Day Surgery or ambulatory surgical care environments
Ability to adapt to variable start times and multi-location assignments
