Locum Nurse Practitioner Urgent Care in Midlothian, VA

Schedule: 3 days/week, shifts typically 12+ hours, 7 days/week operation (8:00 AM 8:00 PM)
Employment Type: Locum (potential for perm)
Experience: Prior urgent care or outpatient experience preferred; licensed to practice in VA

What You ll Do:

Provide urgent care services to a diverse outpatient patient population, from birth to elderly patients
Perform minor procedures including laceration repairs, I&D, splinting, and joint reduction
Manage acute illnesses and injuries, including administering nebulizers and initial emergency stabilization
Interpret X-Rays, EKGs, and point-of-care tests for diagnosis and treatment planning
Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care

What You Need:

Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia
Minimum of 1-2 years of urgent care or outpatient experience
Proficiency in suturing, I&D, splinting, and basic point-of-care diagnostics
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
