Quick Facts:

• Location: 9851 Brook Road, Glen Allen, VA 23059
• Start Date: 09/06/2026
• End Date/Duration: Ongoing until perm hire or end of assignment
• Shift: 12-hour shifts, clinics open 7 days/week, 8:00 AM 8:00 PM (schedule based on patient flow)
• Hours/Week: 36 hours (3 shifts/week)
• Employment Type: Locum, with potential transition to perm
• License/Cert: Valid Nurse Practitioner license in VA required; BLS certification
• Experience: At least 1 year in urgent care or outpatient settings; pediatric experience preferred

What You ll Do:

• Provide urgent outpatient care across multiple clinics, handling patient needs from birth to adult
• Perform procedures such as laceration repairs, I&D, foreign body removal, and splinting
• Conduct diagnostic assessments, interpret X-rays, EKGs, and lab results
• Manage minor burns, nosebleeds, and airway support as needed
• Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
• Collaborate with clinical team to deliver high-quality patient care during high-volume periods

What You Need:

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in VA
• BLS certification (Additional certifications preferred)
• 1+ years of urgent care or outpatient clinical experience
• Strong procedural skills, including suturing, I&D, and minor injury management
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment
