As a Special Education Teacher, you’ll work full-time, helping students grow academically and personally within a supportive school setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification.
• Experience with middle school-aged students preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted instruction and interventions for students with IEPs in a resource room setting.
• Develop lesson plans tailored to individual student goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers.
• Monitor student progress, document data, and adjust strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings.
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student independence.

Position Details:

• Full-time contract position.
• Middle School Resource Room.
• Schedule: 8:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.
