This role requires hands‑on leadership, a passion for team development, and the ability to manage all aspects of the sales process — from customer engagement to deal structure and inventory planning. You’ll work closely with the General Manager to increase market share, optimize gross profit, and build a culture of excellence. Who You Are: A confident leader who models integrity, professionalism, and outstanding customer service A strong communicator and motivator who enjoys coaching others to success Passionate about driving performance through teamwork, accountability, and engagement Strategic and analytical — able to identify opportunities and develop action plans Experienced in managing Showroom, E-Commerce, and Phone traffic streams Skilled in setting goals, tracking performance, and ensuring a high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Reliable, adaptable, and driven by results Key Responsibilities: Lead and inspire the sales team to achieve monthly sales, profit, and CSI goals Recruit, train, coach, and retain top‑performing Sales Associates Actively engage in daily operations, including desking deals and appraising trades Oversee customer negotiation and ensure clear communication of purchase options and pricing Collaborate with leadership to plan and manage new and used vehicle inventory Analyze sales data to identify trends, shortfalls, and opportunities for improvement Manage controllable expenses and support dealership profitability goals Performance Expectations: Achieve targeted unit sales and gross profit Maintain strong customer satisfaction and team retention metrics Demonstrate leadership aligned with Berlin City Auto Group’s mission and values Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of automotive retail sales or management experience Strong computer and CRM proficiency Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record Must be 18 years or older and Able to pass a background check and drug screening for illegal substances Authorization to work in the U.S. Who We Are: Berlin City Auto Group is a family of dealerships located throughout Maine and Vermont.
