Job Title

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) & Teams. Shift is primarily 1st shift but can be asked to work later or earlier to help train/observe/audit a process. Requirements

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) & Teams. Analytical, Self-Starter, Detail Oriented & Effective Communicator. Must possess the ability to follow standard operating procedures. Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality and efficiency. Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment. Knowledge of M3, Factory track, Power-Bi, QA studios nice to have. Knowledge of 6-S Safety regulations nice to have. Understands 6-S, FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act), SQF (Safe Quality Food) and HACCP (Hazard, Analysis, Critical, Control, Points).

Responsibilities

Supports the plant operations department in the area of Quality and Food Safety. Key contact for food safety regulatory authorities and auditing firms. Ensure that established procedures, verifications and validations are being followed for production quality, state and federal guidelines. Leads and supports internal and external audits. Maintains quality and food safety records. Performs records review and follow up on variances. Utilizes root cause analysis to resolve food safety and quality variances. Provides supervision of QA Staff in scheduling and daily activities. Provides back up where needed for QA Coordinator and Laboratory. Trains and instructs employees in quality and food safety standards and processes.
