Site Reliability Engineer

IDR is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, TX.  This role focuses on supporting and administering enterprise platform environments with an emphasis on improving reliability, governance, and automation. The company operates within the government or public sector, leveraging Microsoft technologies to advance high-priority AI initiatives and platform capabilities.

Position Overview for the Site Reliability Engineer:

• Support and administer the organizations Microsoft Power Platform environment, ensuring platform reliability, governance, and optimization.
• Partner with the technical lead to expand Power Platform capabilities and support AI initiatives.
• Focus on platform administration, troubleshooting, and automation with a strong engineering mindset.
• Support Microsoft technologies such as Windows, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
• Bring a hands-on approach to supporting production environments and improving system performance.

Requirements for the Site Reliability Engineer:

• 3+ years experience administering, configuring, governing, troubleshooting, and optimizing Power Platform environments.
• Strong experience with Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and related Microsoft enterprise technologies.
• Experience supporting production environments, enhancing platform reliability, and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Ability to partner with engineering teams on new solutions, including AI initiatives.
• A strong mix of engineering and administrative experience, with a focus on automation and platform governance.
