Admin Assistant - Service Coordinator Location: San Diego, El Cajon, CA Work Schedule: Hybrid - Onsite Monday-Thursday, Remote Friday Core Hours: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM Duration: 12-month contract Compensation Max Pay Rate: $34-39/hour Position Overview Our client is seeking a highly organized and adaptable Service Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Service Planning team. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and has strong customer service and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Answer and manage a high volume of incoming phone calls. Schedule trench inspections. Dispatch gas and electric field crews. Respond to customer inquiries professionally and efficiently. Provide administrative support to the Service Planning team. Print maps and prepare documents as needed. Assist with special projects and other general office duties. Maintain accurate records and perform data entry using Microsoft Office applications. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel . Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. Strong customer service skills and attention to detail. Preferred Candidate Qualities Adaptable and able to manage changing priorities. Comfortable handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Dependable with strong problem-solving skills. Team-oriented with a proactive attitude. Interview Process One interview with the hiring manager and two additional supervisors. Work Environment Hybrid schedule: Onsite: Monday-Thursday Remote: Friday Standard working hours are 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM .
