Overview Metropolitan Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility) – A growing, 144-bed behavioral health facility. Metropolitan Behavioral Health Hospital provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults, and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues are offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population. UNIT CLERK

FULL-TIME

7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. The unit clerk is responsible for the clerical functions on the unit, acts as a receptionist for the program, and is under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager. In addition, the clerk will prepare charts for admission and assist with discharge paperwork distribution. Qualifications High School diploma or GED is required. Experience in a hospital clerical role Excellent interpersonal communication Has organizational skills Skills in organizing and prioritizing work/time Ability to file alphabetically and numerically Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the telephone and writing Ability to use standard office equipment Ability to read and to write legible Ability to work well with others in difficult situations Work Hours : This is an in-person position for day shift 7a-3:30p. This position requires every other weekend and holiday rotation.
