Inspired from a young age by the homes being built around him, David pursued a degree in engineering at Texas A&M before realizing homebuilding was his passion. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE:

Leading and developing our Leadership Team with consistency, clarity, and accountability. Establishing performance expectations and ensuring every department is aligned with company goals and core values. Driving operational excellence across pre-construction, construction, project management, scheduling, administration, and customer experience. Improving systems, workflows, and processes that increase efficiency, scalability, and profitability. Removing operational bottlenecks while improving collaboration across departments. Ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to Aspire's exceptional quality standards. Partnering closely with the Owner to translate strategic vision into measurable execution. Facilitating leadership meetings, quarterly planning sessions, scorecards, and strategic initiatives using elements of the EOS/Traction framework. Monitoring project profitability, forecasting, job costing, financial performance, and operational KPIs. Using operational data to identify trends, solve problems proactively, and improve overall business performance. Recruiting, coaching, mentoring, and developing exceptional leaders across the organization. Building scalable operational infrastructure to support significant future growth. Creating and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that establish consistency and accountability throughout the business. Driving a culture of ownership, discipline, continuous improvement, and service excellence. Thriving as the trusted operational partner to the Founder while preparing for future General Manager responsibilities.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

5+ years of operational leadership or senior management experience within the construction industry. Proven experience leading multiple departments and developing high-performing leadership teams. Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, job costing, margin analysis, and operational reporting. Outstanding leadership, coaching, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Experience using construction management software (JobTread, Buildertrend, or similar). Strong understanding of construction operations, project delivery, and client experience. Ability to work primarily from our Houston office while regularly engaging with project teams and clients. Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States Holds a valid driver's license and has reliable transportation The nice to haves: Experience working within the EOS/Traction framework. Background in luxury custom residential construction. Experience helping scale a growing construction business. Experience migrating or implementing operational software platforms. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
