Producers make $450-600 per show after fees for 20 performances. Each contract renewal results in an upgrade in the per show amount, based on a progressively discounted licensing fee. SBT is currently offering its very popular PreK to 1st grade show, LITTLE IS BIG, which has a cast of two performers, a musician (guitar) and a puppeteer. Both performers create characters, puppeteer and sing. Production costs are minimal as most puppets can be constructed simply and relatively cheaply. Once puppets are constructed, upkeep is inexpensive. A travel fee can be added to the cost of the performance to pay for gas and tolls or train transportation, once determined.
